Massage-a-Thon - Massage Therapy Students participate in a fund raising event for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Interdisciplinary Medical Event - A Campus Wide Event in which all programs in the Allied Health Medical Fields (Medical Assisting, Surgical Technology, Practical Nurse, Pharmacy Technology, and Massage Therapy) participated. A fictitious patent, Ms. Henrietta Goodall was admitted to the fictitious “KCC Medical Center”. She was scheduled for Laparoscopic Gallbladder surgery. During her stay at the “KCC Greenacres Medical Center” each department (Allied Health Program) followed thru with her care during this Interdisciplinary Medical Event. Health and Wellness Fair - Keiser Career College’s students at the Greenacres Campus utilize their training. Massage Therapy Demonstration - The Massage Therapy Students at the Greenacres Campus demonstrate massage techniques in a presentation to the entire campus. |
